By Stephie from Denver, CO on 11/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports, work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews about the sizing running too small, the toe box being too small and not being able to wear thick socks etc. I waver between a 9 & 10 in shoe size, so I went for the 10. They fit perfectly. There is no need to wear thick socks because they are so well insulated. I have walked through puddles, snow, icy snowy puddles and they don't even look wet afterward. I have never owned a cuter, practical pair of winter shoes/boots in my life. I highly, highly recommend these boots.

By Beboh from Bridgeport, TX on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these whenever it's cold, which isn't a lot around here.
They are soft, comfy, and wonderful. I love them and would definitely buy them again.
By SIUC grad student from Southern Illinois on 11/13/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Comfortable, Strange fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like how the shoes look, but they fit really strangely since they are wide at the toes and uncomfortably narrow towards the heels. I have narrow feet, so if your feet are wide, they will probably be very uncomfortable.
The website said they run small so I ordered a size larger. I really like how they look so I think I'll be exchanging the pair a bought for a slightly larger size to see if they fit a little bit better.
Great boot, defective footbed By TeleClaire from Golden, CO on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like many other reviewers have said, these do run a bit small and have a funny footbed. The footbed is reasonably easy to fix. You just need to trim the toe down a bit with a pair of scissors and the footbed will lay flat. The other option is to put another set of footbeds in, which I think is a great idea if you want more arch support, something these boots lack.
The boot is warm, comfortable, and cute. Definitely order a 1/2 size up.
By mcmamarama from Btown, IN on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't experience the issues that other folks complained about.
Entry is not a problem. Unzip, put the boot on the floor, step in from top.
Insoles were fine on mine.
They are warm enough without socks, so fit is perfect for me.
I have muscular (read: large) calves and these fit perfectly with a little room for comfort, which I really appreciate.
These boots are super cute, comfy and stylish and I want to wear them all the time.
By Avery from Boulder, CO on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Definitely run on the small side, I would go 1 full size larger. They are very comfy and warm!

By L from Denver, CO on 10/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like other reviewers, I got a pair that the footbed was bunched up in the toebox. They were horribly uncomfortable for the 2 minutes I had them on. Returned. Should have listened to the other reviews.
poor interior construction By practical shopper from Ridgewood, NJ on 10/13/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered next size up as recommended, still too small, could not have put on any socks. In the toe there was a bunched up fabric/insulation material that really hurt. I am a big Merrell fan and these just did not live up to their quality for comfort on the inside.
