Good for cool/cold weather wear around town. Comfortable as always and supportive for all day walking.
By TRX450 from Bremerton WA on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a great boot however getting into it is a little challenging but I figured it would get easier with wear.
Great looking, but hard to wear! By Buttercup the Thinker from Salt Lake City, UT on 09/14/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the way these boots look, but I simply could not get my ankles into them without unlacing them almost all the way. I returned them because I didn't want to go to this much trouble just to get them on.
cute boots and good for the price! By noname from Fort Collins, CO on 09/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cute lightweight boot with subtle embossed floral design, practical for many weather conditions. Tongue is not gusseted, and no insulation so not good for deeper snow. These are fashion boots, not serious outdoor boots for hiking and such. There is not much foot support.
Although the quality is adequate for the price, it seems below the usual Keen standards; i.e. no padding around the ankle, and the leather seems thin in areas that are usually reinforced, like where the lacing eyelets are. Also the insole is thin and flimsy with no arch support. (I fixed this with my own insoles however:-)
I would not dare to do any serious hiking in these. But I'll still be happy even if they only last 6 months at this price! Great around town casual boots with some water protection.
By Catrina from Smithville, TX on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Could use a stiffer sole Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for multi-use on a trip - walking, light hiking. The only thing that would make them better is a sturdier sole for rocky areas. But, since they weren't advertised for that I'm very happy with the purchase, especially for the great price.

Keen footwear is expensive but Sierra Trading Post makes them affordable. Stylish and fun boots!!
By carriebelle from milwaukee, wi on 09/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Keen shoes. These fit true to size. I will waterproof these boots with spray as a preventative measure, but they are comfy kicking around fall boots. If you want a heavier winter boot- try Keen's Betty Boot or Winthrop- something more substantial.
Great Price & Classic Keen Fit By Indi from Seattle, WA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I saw similar Keen boots at another store for over $100 -- maybe these boots are last season, but they looked pretty much the same, and for a 1/3 of the cost! I have 2 pair of Keen shoes already, so ordered my typical "Keen size" which is 1/2 size larger than other shoes. They fit perfectly. So if you know your Keen size, you don't need to worry. My only complaint is the laces, they seem kind of cheap, but those can be replaced. Overall, great boots for a fantastic price.
By Irene from Bend, Oregon on 09/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Keens. These boots will be used for casual wear. They are a little difficult to get on though. Right now I have a sprained ankle so I am hoping they will work for me when it is healed.
