By Outdoors Gal from Downeast Maine on 09/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are beautiful, stylish, and fit well. Getting in and out of them could be a little easier. They close up well with the velcro strip in the back, but the entry reminds me more of putting on a rear-entry ski boot back in the day, and then tightening up. Still, the boots are beautiful and I'm glad to have them for the winter! Havn't tried them yet since weather isn't cold yet. Thanks!
Not waterproof as stated in product info By georgiagirl from ga on 09/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Waterproof Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are comfortable boots, however they are not for wet conditions. I work in a meat processing plant with lots of water on the floor. These boots
do not keep feet dry.
By Nonie from Isabela, Puerto Rico on 09/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are comfortable right away with great arch support. They aren't dressy, but they have a cute, active wear style about them and their high quality is very noticeable.
Keen Comfort & Sleek Lines By Miss Mary from Atlanta,GA on 09/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Street Wear, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am not an outdoor type. I am a fan of Keen shoes. Chamonix boots appeared small looking out of the box due to the sleek/slim style. I put them on with a thin sock and wore them shopping for several hours, VERY COMFORTABLE!!
I like to wear them with below the knee dresses besides straight leg pants. Great looking and they feel very good on the feet. Unlike the Keen clog style that I would order up a size from a 7 to an 8, I got these in a size 7.5, perfect fit. One point I will make, if you have large/fat legs these are not going to be the boots for you. When I say sleek I also mean slim to normal. Big legs will have a hard time getting into and or pulling this boot together. Otherwise they are GREAT!

Comfortable, Durable, and Dry By K.D. from Carlisle, PA on 09/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for my daughter. She loves the fact that they are stylish and waterproof. She said that while her friends had to watch where they walked to avoid puddles, she could walk right through the puddles and her feet would stay dry. When the weather gets cold she wears them every day.
Typically great Keen product By Chris in DC from Washington, DC on 09/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boot with typical Keen comfort. I like the look of the boot and plan to wear it casually in the winter in DC. The velcro on the sides other people mentioned doesn't bother me and doesn't show when I wear them. (I have avg size calves so the front flap 100% covers the velcro.) And I like the velcro because it keeps the boot snug around my calf when walking. I bought the brown leather and was really pleased with the color. There is a seam down the front of the boot that I wasn't aware of when I purchased but I still like them.
By Alaska Girl from SE Alaska on 09/14/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable, Not Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Too difficult to slip on. Sole felt too thin for winter and cold wet conditions. Didn't like the look. I like other Keens, but these don't measure up at all.
Not what I expected from Keen By Dog Girl from Mill Valley, CA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were disappointing as I love Keen shoes. I traded them in for the Palermo style and love these. The Chamonix are too flimsy for what I was looking for. They are good looking, but didn't have a sturdy enough sole (what I expect from Keen) and they just felt cheap.
