Aquis Robe - Microfiber Terry Cloth By scout mom from Western Mass on 11/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems a little heavy to take on a trip to our timeshare that has a hot tub-but plan to try it out soon!
Soft - absorbs water and not bulky! By Sweetpea from Chicago area on 11/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This robe is a little large, but the sleeves are shorter - when washing dishes I don't have to roll the sleeves up many times! The fiber absorbs water and is a great alternative to the thick, heavy terry robes. Also, fleece robes do not absorb moisture! I love it and ordered 2 more for gifts!

Great robe for my guest room By AZ hostess from Phoenix on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, For guests Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Thrifty Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two of these robes for my guest room. They wash well and don't take forever to dry, but synthetic terry cloth does not feel as cozy as cotton terry. These are nothing like fancy hotel guest robes, but for guests to our Phoenix home they'll be just fine.
By Auntie C from Rohnert Park on 09/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a lifelong user of terry robes, which I step into right out of the shower. (I don't even use towels.) And the most important quality of a good terry robe is that it instantly absorbs the water from my skin and doesn't feel initially "cold" or "clammy," especially against my legs. I doubted when I ordered this robe that it would have that quality, because it's not cotton terry. So I was THRILLED the first time I put it on that it does indeed instantly absorb the water and doesn't feel cold. The only negative is that it doesn't slide on smoothly like cotton terry -- it "drags" a little as I put it on. But that's minor to me, compared to the importance of how comfortable it feels against my skin, once it's on. It is also thinner than a plush cotton terry, but for me that's a plus – I like that it's sort of compact, and also easier to pack for travel. I bought the "unisex" version which fits me a little generously but is not huge. (I'm 5'5", 140 pounds.) I like it that the sleeves are full length, not 3/4, so on a chilly morning my arms are covered.
