I'm not sure how they would stand up to daily walking with them though.

However, they are cut way too wide. I wear 9 1/2 - 10 medium shoes and swam around in the L sock. M was still too wide. So, yes, I recommend for quality, but not for people with narrow/medium feet. Stretchy Smartwool and Wigwam wool-silk blends fit better.
