By Guitar Man from Richmond, CA on 08/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Over-the-calf length, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Good with high boots, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear nothing but wool socks because my feet sweat a lot. I bought several pairs of these because I wanted some that come up high over my calves. These are exactly what I hoped they'd be, and I can't detect the blemish that makes them seconds. But they're for people who like pretty heavy socks --- perhaps, like me, who don't mind extra warmth if the socks are good at wicking moisture away from the feet. These would be very good for everyday use in freezing weather.
Socks the size of a sleeping bag! By Tumpy from Decatur, Ga. on 08/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first opened the box and saw these fuffy, knee length socks I thought, "I don't remember ordering a sleeping bag". They look giagantic! However, once I tried them on, they were a good fit, hugged my leg and stayed up without being bothersomely tight and felt good. They give the initial impression that they will keep you warm and provide comfort.

By novelguy from Batavia, NY on 06/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Good Design, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Comfort anywhereany time, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great foot comfort and feel. Superior wicking. My feet feel protected. The only negative, and a minor one at that, is these socks are too tall. Not by much, but enough to leave me looking slightly baggy.
