I'll buy some addn'l pairs that are even heavier and warmer. The pair I already bought will be fine in moderately cold weather.

Great value at the STP price! By Bronco from Ellensburg, WA on 08/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Cons: Thicker than lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily inside cowboy boots, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little thicker than I had expected, but still thin enough to use with a liner inside my boots. Durability of this Bridgedale seems to be better than that of a competitor's sock for no more cost. I think I've found a new favorite boot sock.
doubles as a cycling sock By joe blow from boulder,co on 08/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Cycling, Skiing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: nicely engineered sock, the thicker wool up front and breathable back make these a great cool morning cycling sock. I tried a couple other Bridgedale ski socks and like this one the best- its part of my daily commute now that the mornings are starting out cold...
