By Tabbycat from Olympia, WA on 03/06/2010 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is unusual to find walking shoes in narrow widths so when I saw these I snapped up a pair. I was extremely pleased with the comfort and fit, so I went back for another pair while they were still available in my size. Unfortunately, the second pair did not fit so well. I returned them the next day. I guess that is the risk when purchasing seconds. I still love the pair I kept.

I have used this style for 8yrs and am always trying to find ways not to pay full price since I keep 2 pair that I rotate and change them out for new every 4 months. I feel that this si a comfortable, durable shoe and when I am done there is still enough life in them that I donate them so that someone else has the benefit of their use.

By Aging baby boomer from richland center, WI on 02/10/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Made in USA Best Uses: Everyday wear, With Orthotics/Inserts Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these to wear around the house. With Morton's neuroma in one foot and plantar fascitis in the other, I can't wear slippers. My over-the-counter orthotics fit well in the shoes. New Balance aren't the hippest shoes around, but they're made in the US, affordable enough to be replaced on a regular basis, and a variety of lasts offer fitting for a wide range of feet.
