These shoes feel great and I had a pair in the past that felt the same. I was glad to see these for sale and bought them with no question. I have a high arch and there is plenty of cushion and support in these shoes.

Well cushioned, flexible, By Gus1 from McLean, VA on 08/06/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible Cons: Doesn't breath that well, Previous model Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very good cushioning, and very flexible. Probably best for those with neutral or who supinate (under-pronate) when running. Synthetic fabric doesn't breathe all that well. Shoe feels light weight. Only con is it is the previous generation model (992), and NB has the 993 out now.
