They're Stiff too but that's generally preferable in a heavy-duty work boot & they're heavy too as one would expect in a heavy-duty, steel-toe work boot.. Being in blacktop & climbing all over dump trucks all day, they stain easily & unavoidably... I'd have preferred black.. The less aggressive sole, lack of water-proofing & lack of insulation precludes them being any good in winter but fit well for walking on fresh blacktop in the other three seasons of the year...

All my friends have been commenting on them saying they look funny, but are the best work boots I've owned in a good while.
