They're actually quite stylish in a Everclear "big black boots and my old suitcase" sort of way. I really like them.
Half-size too big is a bit an overstatement. However, I find that thicker socks are a must. The one thing I needed to change was the insole. The old ones didn't offer enough arch support. As a mile pronator, the ligaments in my feet would get sore after wearing them a few days straight. I put some Superfeet Wintergreens in there and now they're the bomb.

Comfortable, well made boot. Only wish it had hooks for lacing and not eyelets at the top.

It's probably going to take a week to break them in because the leather is thick but I expect that when I buy a good leather boot.

True to size in length, but too narrow in the forefoot and too wide at the heel for me. Wish I could have made them work.
