I even bought one after my wife got hers.
By Holly from Salem, OR on 10/20/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: SpringFall layering, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great warm vest that makes a cool morning seem not so chilly. It packs well into a pack as the day warms up. I am very pleased with it and look forward to many years of use, I've always been impressed with the durability of Patagonia's gear. The only con is the zippers on the pockets do not open and close easily, but only a minor issue.

By Happy in Colorado from Fort Collins, CO on 09/30/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Biking, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest has been great for those early mornings when it's cool, but not cold enough to put on a heavy coat. I bike my son to school every morning and it's perfect to throw on over a long sleeve shirt.
By NEgrl from New England on 09/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great all around, packable vest for 3 season use (4 season in the mountains). It packs into its own pocket and weighs next to nothing. The fit is a bit boxy, so I exchanged a large for a medium, which is much better for me (usually a 10-12). It can be worn over a fitted soft shell or under a less fitted shell. The color is very nice. Great to have on hand as an extra layer for when conditions change, and also nice for around town.
By NEgrl from New England on 09/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest is a great warm layer and highly packable - - squishes down to nothing. It will be great for winter/spring/fall backpacking, snowshoeing, cross country and for a "just in case" layer for skiing. The color is beautiful. I normally wear a 12 or large in patagonia, but this is a bit oversized and shapeless, so I'm returning for the next size down.
