Mittens are perfect except for length. By Helen, the skier from Mammoth Lakes CA on 10/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very handsome glove.
too short, but nice gloves By rckn runner from Denver, CO on 10/13/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have small hands (and usually wear a small or xsmall in gloves), so I ordered the small size but they were too short as my fingers couldn't be straight inside the glove. I exchanged them for the mediums and they were still to short. Their must be some design flaw so if you have short fingers, they'd probably work for you. Otherwise, order up at least 1 size.
By Mt. Kili Girl from hartford, ct on 09/12/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a large & they just fit, actually a little snug. Normally I take a med. From wrist base to tip of middle finger is 7in. I would have liked a bit more wiggle room. I think an XL would be way too big. I am hoping they will be warm. Haven't had an opportunity to really break them in yet.
By snowboarder Tam from Seattle, WA on 05/13/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second pair of this model (I accidentally singed my last pair too close to the fire in the lodge). I had them for 4+ years with heavy use on the mountain and they have always been warm and dry. The goose down makes the difference and with Gore-tex they are near perfect. Bought a pair for a Christmas present also! Great investment for cold hands.
measure length of hand for correct fit By Jenny from Greensboro, NC/Elk Lake, Ontario on 04/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: ATVing, Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running, Snowmobiling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The mittens seem very warm, although I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I did have to exchange for a larger size. They fit well in the width, but they seemed a little short in length, especially if gripping a snowmobile or ATV. My hand measures 7" from base of palm to tip of middle finger - and the "large" worked best for me.
