By a picky lady from Utica, NY on 06/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Look Cool Cons: Too Stiff, Too tight Best Uses: Everyday, Shopping, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Fussy about appearance Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: One of the things I like about MBTs--apart from mending my posture and releaving my back pain--is that they make my feet work and feel alive, including my toes. The biggest problem with these is that they don't let your toes move at all. Even though I have quite narrow feet, these shoes still feel way too tight. They are also very stiff, so it hurt in several places on my feet and ancles initially, but this might have disappeared with prolonged wear, I don't know, since I had to send them back.

I order 1/2 size up and that was fine. Very cute! Also comfortable.

By Bad feet from Iowa City on 06/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I always thought MBTs looked interesting and a worsening bunion made me decide to take a chance. 1/2 size up was just right in these. Adjustment was not hard since I have long worn flat to negative heel shoes. The rocker bottom and totally rigid sole mean that your foot rolls through the stride with essentially no push off or flexing of the big toe. The shoe does not feel heavy to wear, despite its weight, since it practically propels you along. I am back to walking...with pleasure. They change the way you walk and your posture in ways that may also have long-term benefits. It feels good to me.
By MNmom from MN on 06/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i wear these for work only because of their price and look. Not very cute but functional. I don't notice any toning but my feet and back don't hurt.
