By averageJane from Eastern Shore, MD on 07/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVE this shoe; it is "lighter" and more versatile than the "sneakers" I have. It runs 1/2 size small and a little narrow. I would NOT recommend this shoe for someone with wide feet. My feet are a little on the narrow side and I put a tennis ball in at the toe area to stretch it a bit. The adjusting strap is a ++ and style is cute too. GREAT shoe for someone NOT having WIDE feet.

I find MBTs generally true to size--they should fit closely. I am used to Earth shoes so the negative heel did not require adjustment for me. These shoes are somewhat heavy, but the rocking movement helps minimize that effect.

I can stand for hours without knee and lower back pain - great for work and play!! Best of all: Standing on stage, playing my instrument is now pain-free . . . whoo-hoooooo!!!
By a picky lady from Utica, NY on 06/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Not bulky, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried different types of MBTs recently and these were arguably the most comfortable for me. I have narrow feet, but after trying the 'Barbara' style and finding it way too tight and confining, I had little faith in these. But they actually proved to be very different, my feet don't feel confined at all and yet they stay on reliably, which is not easy to achieve with Mary Janes. They also look a lot better than I thought according to the picture (I have the brown ones).
I have constant back pain and MBTs seem to help with it tremendously (mainly by improving my posture). It doesn't get any better than this pair for me!
By De from Rochester IL on 06/16/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Comfortable right out of, Durable, Easy to get on, Legs and feet loved them, Versatile Cons: Order up like it says Best Uses: Casual Wear, Good for hard surfaces, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. No breaking in time. I am used to good supportive shoes but, someone who isn't might need to get used to them over a few days. I like the fact that almost the whole top of the shoe is open to get your foot in then the strap secures it and can be adjusted. Love the color (brown). Goes with jeans and dark slacks. Will wear to work (hard floor in a clinic) and casually.

These are "dressier" than my others but the many benefits are the same!

MBT's keep the strain off my back and hips. They do take a little getting used to and climbing stairs. Worth the effort.
