Great casual looking shoes By Wisconsin Cheese from Havelock, NC on 06/28/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of MBT's. I was a little hesitant with the higher price, but still got a great deal. These boots don't look like the style of tennis shoe or velcro models on the MBT lineup. To me these draw less attention as a comfort shoe, and they have the Gore-tex for cold and wet weather. I'd would buy these if you don't have a pair yet, but have been contemplating buying a pair.
Great boot for hard surface walking By Lee from Northern WA on 06/27/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are superb for extended periods on concrete or paved surfaces, either walking or standing. The cushioning effect of the sole, and the minor change in walking stride they cause does reduce strain on legs and feet. The sole doesn't seem thick or strong enough for use on rough, sharp surfaces (such as loose rocks in the mountains), and might be cut and compromised if used in this type of environment.
By Hayabrusa from Detroit Lakes, MN on 06/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had them long enough to make a real ruling on comfort or durability; however, the rolling heel is really unique. Takes a bit to get used to, but seems to feel pretty good after a while.

He is getting used to the difference that MBTs take in adjusting how you walk, but he can really feel a difference in the way he stands and how comfortable they are for him.

By LABiker from Lo-Cal So. Cal. on 05/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Orthopedic Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: MBT's products are pricey, even at Sierra Trading Post's bargain rates, but in this case, well worth the expense. I suffer from plantar fasciaitis, and MBT shoes are the only thing I've found so far that work to alleviate the condition. [My HMO, Kaiser Permanente, does nothing but offer a list of useless & sometimes painful "exercises" for this condition. If it persists, they'll give you a cortisone injection, but that's it. What quacks...]If you suffer from PF, these shoes *work*, provided you can get them in your size [my boss, who clued me into MBT shoes, has such small feet she's forced to shop in the children's section. Obviously, w/ MSRPs starting at [$]/pr, MBT doesn't _make_ kid's sizes...]
