By Jason18D from Fort Bragg NC on 09/29/2009 Pros: Comfort, durability, price, Quality, True to size Cons: A little low wasted, Weird belt Best Uses: Casual, CHURCH, Work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really comfortable, yet durable canvas material. Very soft, not like Carhartts (where they could stand up in the corner on their own)! I wish the belt was just a little wider or the loops were, so I could wear a nylon type tactical belt...then again if you do not have a "front porch" to restrain, this probably won't matter as much. Great value...retail for these is about 3-4 times as much as STP!!!
The difference was the details By jguser from Pacifica on 09/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great looking, Heavy duty fabric, Integrated belt, Re-enforced seams Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants fit really well and offered a number of sizes to ensure a good fit. The material is high quality and well-wearing, and the cut can go casual at home, office or out.
seems ok, waist short though By no nickname from Brookline MA on 09/01/2009 Best Uses: Casual around house Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good for knocking about, but waist too short for really good comfort.
By joe blow from boulder,co on 08/25/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fit, durable material. The cuff cinches are useful for bike commuting
Not sure if I agree with ordering a size down -- the pants are cotton and can shrink. I have a 40 waist (38 in some brands) and ordered the XL. The pant was a little large, so I washed warm, dried hot and they now fit and I don't need to worry about future shrinkage....
Mountain Hardwear Runout Pants By Chris the Backpacker from Arvada, CO on 08/12/2009 Pros: Built in belt, durability, Fit, Size Best Uses: Every Day Wear, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants fit well. The mediums are closer to the 34 waist. However the built in belt takes up any extra room very well. These are a great looking pant to wear to work or on the trail. Casual look but dressy enough to wear in a professional environment.
By Rob from Wilmington, OH on 08/08/2009 Pros: Comfort, durability, Fit Best Uses: CASUAL WEAR, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my favorite pants now, in fact I own 2 pair. They fit true to size and wash/wear really well.
By GIS Phan from Below Long's Peak on 08/04/2009 Pros: Attractive, Well constructed Cons: Belt loops too small, Don't like the belt Best Uses: Casual outings, Outdoor activities Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product is well made and fits as expected. The included belt is subpar and the belt loops are small. It would be better if the pants had regular size beltloops and no belt.
By Bully from Willamette Valley, Oregon on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable well made Best Uses: Hiking or casual Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The quality, fit, and functionallity you would expect from Mountain Hardware. Full cut makes for comfortable hiking and mobile activities, zip side pocket is handy too.
By Double D from Springfield, MO on 08/01/2009 Cons: Odd Fit, Shorter Than Advertised Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material was nice...soft but tough. The fit was odd and the inseam of the short is not 31...I'd call it more like 29.
