By rissman from southern tier nys. on 06/29/2009 Pros: Appear well made, Good leg room not baggy, Good price also, Great pant true size Best Uses: Daily Wear, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is similar to a pair of mountain hardwear pants that I purchased a few years ago. I liked those and hope I'll get similar wear from these. I"ll mainly use them for hiking and daily wear. I really like the fact that they fit me well. The built in belt is a bonus.

By Jeremiah Jeff from Colorado on 06/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, Well Made Best Uses: Camping, Casual, Work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Solid stitching and durable fabric. I wear them as business casual to work and outdoor tough for camping. Low waist is great for comfort less useful in office setting. Great value from Sierra Trading.
By Mike from Benicia, CA on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Nicely designed and made, Rugged Best Uses: Everyday wear, Hiking, Outdoor wear Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Been wearing the MHW Runout shorts for a few years and have proven to be very comfortable and durable. Was hoping to try out the pant version and STP came through. I don't climb (guess that's what these were designed for), but for hiking, general (non-watersport) outdoor activities and around town, the Runout pants are great. Plenty of pockets, but more "low profile" than regular cargo pants. Being designed for climbing, the Runouts move with you nicely. They are constructed of a fairly heavy cotton canvas material (may not be the most comfortable for hot weather). I normally wear 34x30 pants and the Medium/Short fit perfectly. Usual Mountain Hardwear quality applies here as does STP's great price!
