By Joan from Reno from Reno, NV on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These more than met my expectations. Perfect fit and long, even though they weren't sized long. Very soft and comfortable fabric. They are lightweight. I have rarely been disappointed with Mountain Hardwear!
By wldflwrrunner from northcountry, ny on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 5'8" frame loves these pants. SO So SO glad STP has "long" and "tall" options once and a while.
Fine if you are a paper doll By Not My Real Name from NE Minn. on 11/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like trying to fit into an envelope, they are that flat. I have what maybe qualifies as an "athletic" physique in that my bottom does project outwardly but I have measurements that are right on for size specs- so not disproportionate even by kind of unrealistic standards of clothing co.s- & there was no way these pants were going to work. One would need a completely flat to possibly concave backside to have these work. Otherwise, the fabric & styling were pretty good & at the discounted price they would have been good value if they'd fit me.
By khakis for work from New Jersey on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have to wear khakis to work, but I have a hard time finding any that fit my curves. These fit ok, although a little snug, but I think a size up would be too big.
By Here Now from Sierra Nevadas on 08/25/2009 Cons: Low Quality, Poor Fit Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Completely surprised ~ nowhere near the quality I've come to know and love from Mountain Hardware. Tacky and poorly fit (one full size small).
By CA Urban Cowgirl from San Frncisco, CA on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were just what I was looking for: trim-fitting and stylish with a touch of stretch. I am 5'7 and I got the L length. I ordered another pair after I saw how they came out of the washer/dryer. No shrinking, and no ironing. They are long enough that I plan to hem one pair to wear with flats. I like the unfinished edge accents- but if that will bug you- these pants aren't for you. Note: the pant leg is straight, so if you have even basic hemming skills it will be a breeze.
These are OK after some hem work. By Karrie from Rochester New york on 07/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants fit great - NOW - however when I got them I was quite disapointed that they were several inches too long and there was no hem on the cuffs - just raw edges. Fortunately I know how to sew and just hemmed them myself.
By Sue from Santa Rosa, CA on 06/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Color, Stylish Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a size 12, and like a more snug fit, so ordered a size 12 in this pant. I found that it was a fit just a bit too big in the waist, and a bit too full in the thigh. I also like a lower rise pant, but these were a bit too low for me. Loved the fabric, and would like to try a size smaller, if not for the lower rise. Really cute, stylish pant, though, and would be perfect if you like a lower rise and a fuller (but not baggy) cut.
