By Mary from Alabama on 10/11/2009 Best Uses: Indoor, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For reference, I wear a 6W street and bought these in a 37 for a perfect fit with just a touch of toe curl. Very comfortable for climbing shoes, and they don't cut into my achilles tendon at all.
Perfect for what I needed By SoonerGirl from Norman, OK on 09/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't get the chance to climb very often and when I do it's usually indoors or easy outdoors, these have been great for the class I'm in and the gyms in my area.
By Liz from San Diego, CA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, Versatile Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a great beginner/intermediate climbing shoe, super comfortable with a women's specific fit (wider at the ball of the foot, narrower in the heel). My main problem with climbing shoes in the past was the rubber heel would painfully cut into my ankle, and I did not run into that problem with these. They look sharp and fit like a glove, with easy on/off velcro. They are very high quality in construction. I wear a true size 9 in street shoes, 9.5 in sneakers, and ordered these in a 40 and they fit well for climbing. The edges are a little round which makes them more of a beginner, comfortable shoe that I can wear for longer than 10 minutes without feeling like I want to cut my feet off. Nice shoe overall
has replaced my katanas... By Christine from Las Vegas, NV on 08/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: was looking for a replacement for my katanas -- at 1 1/2 sizes down, they smashed by toes but were still loose in the heal cup -- got the Veloces 1/2 size down, fit perfect throughout with that nice tight fit to do some serious climbing but not causing too much pain

and very adjustable. Doesn't dig into heals like some do. Can stay and climb longer as these don't kill your feet.
By Climbing Girl from Orlando, FL on 07/05/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Reading other peoples comments made me order a half size up and it turned out to be too big. climbing shoes are supposed to be a tighter fit so maybe that is why people thought they ran small. I haven't used them yet, but they seem like they will be good shoes.
