more for "cooler" weather" and I like it By N/A from Toledo, OH on 10/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Poor Ventilation Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was caught in removable fleece liner when putting it on after the second time of wearing coat. Jacket seems complicated.
By Sleddogs from White Mountains of NH on 09/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is extremely well made, nice looking and comfortable. The zip-up fleece liner feels very soft. The liner looks very nice and can be worn separately. A nice feature is the detachable hood. Another great jacket at a great price from Sierra.
White & Black is Actually White & Brown By Fishey from Washington, DC on 09/29/2009 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The white is white and brown, not white and black like the description says
By Jbikes from Lehigh Valley, PA on 09/10/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the cream/black and it is not black it is brown. It is a nice brown but I wanted black to go with ski pants. I'll probably keep it as it wasn't very expensive and keep looking for black and white. Looks appropriate for warmer winter days, not a real warm jacket.
By HistoryGal from Denver, CO on 07/31/2009 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket so that I would have options while traveling. I love the fact that the flannel linner comes out and can be worn seperatly, and that the hood comes off. I haven't worn it all assembled yet, but I have worn the inner piece by its self while I was out hikeing. It was very soft and warm, but helped keep me from sweating while I was moving. My one and only complaint is that the hood seems a little bulky, but it comes off, so I figure I will only put it on when I actually need it. Overall a great product!! Love the color too.

Work and recreational. I love the jacket.
By retry1 from Eastern Oregon on 06/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for my daughter who needed a warm jacket for college. She loves it. She is almost 6 feet tall and slender, but the size Small sleeves fit her great, so they might be a little long on a shorter person. It's also easy to care for. She wore it to the Oregon coast on a field trip and was comfortable throughout the trip (including the boat ride) while her classmates were freezing. She brought it home dirty, but one wash and it was like new again.
