By Cow Chick from Baton Rouge on 06/08/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, tight thru shoulders Best Uses: Horseback Riding, Reining, Showing, Team Penning Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disaapointed at the shirttail hem. I thought it would be a straight hem. XL is too tight thru the shoulders to be of use in actual riding. Will have to be dry cleaned as, if it shrinks, it will be of no use at all. It looks good and I am wearing it over slacks for work, but I wanted it for horse shows.
Beautiful, stylish and comfortable By Cowgirl Donna from Boulder, Colorado on 05/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic, Eclectic, Sexy Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This beautiful shirt is comfortable enough for casual wear, classy enough for dressy occasions. The embroidery is lovely and the fabric is light weight but sturdy. It is a tiny bit snug on me but I was between sizes and ordered the smaller size, so I can't complain.
This would be a great shirt for someone who wants a shirt for that can go from a weekend BBQ, to a rodeo, to work and then, with a nice skirt or slacks to a dressy party.
actual size is much smaller By redwing from South Dakota on 05/26/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color, Stylish Cons: Runs small, Thin Fabric, Wrinkles Easily Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions, Western style occasions Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Outdoorsy, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size is so far off standard that I won't order another one in a different size. I'll just return this one and give up. The XL fit like an 8 womens tall. Nice design, quality embroidery and nice and lightweight but the size was so far off that I have no idea how to order one that does fit.
Even better than it looks!! Love it. This shirt I am very proud to wear.
Nice with a couple of problems By Sartorius from Greeley, CO on 04/25/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color Best Uses: Western wear events Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for a western wear event I will be attending soon, because I liked the tunic design and the embroidery. I was worried about the "frayed" hems in the description, so I called Sierra and was told that only the bottom edge was frayed. I understand her mistake because when I received the shirt I didn't at first notice that the yoke and overlaid princess seams are also frayed. I'm not much for frayed edges on anything! The size runs slim. I usually wear a 14, sometimes a 12. I bought a L (14-16) and while it fits, there is much less ease than expected. If I was really a 16, I don't think it would fit at all.
All in all, though I liked the shirt enough, especially at the price, to fuss a little with it, so I will satin stitch over the frayed seams and be quite happy with it.
