my husband loves the north face shoes... extremely comfortable and durable - and he is hard on shoes! He hasn't had running shoes before, so didn't realize they'd let heat out and air in on top... but loves them!

Size not right
By Alta Skier from Alta UT on 09/14/2009
Sizing:
Feels full size too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought these in the same size as my last pair of North Face trail running shoes. But they are clearly too small.

Just bought these because they were on sale and available in my size. I've had other North Face shoes, but at the price I paid I just couldn't pass them up.

Great fit right out of the box. I ran a 10 mile run on roads and trails the first time i wore them to break them in. Really did not need much break in. Great shoe for day hiking and running good trails. I normally run 70 to 80 miles a week. I plan to try them on rougher trails in a 50K run.

The most heal padding I've found in a Trail Running shoe in years. I was leary of the North Face brand, but I bought 2 more pairs after I ran in these shoes the first time. I even bought a pair for my college running son who is having heal problems for use in cross country. We'll see how well they wear and how long the cushioning lasts. Until then, I may buy another pair !
