Bye bye cordoroys - Hello Moleskins!!! By Sirius from West Slope, OR on 12/18/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are made of a heavy material that looks great, plus they have long rise for comfort and a classic British design.
By sideharbor from Massachusetts on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile Best Uses: Everyday, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return mine for a size smaller than I usually wear. Another thing to know is that the cut is very generous--lots of fabric in the thigh and seat--so if you like a more streamlined look, these may not be for you. Still, great moleskin: heavy, warm, nice deep colors. These pants from one of the best English makers wear like iron, look good, and keep you warm all winter. And a good deal on STP; I've paid more than twice as much in fancy men's stores--never again.
The only Trouser you need By Spiceman from Maryland on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Everyday, Formal Occasions, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a little hesitant to first purchase these due to some other comments about them being 'High-waisted'. These trouser fit like trousers should. I get nothing but compliments. I have since purchased four more pair of the moleskin, three of Lambourne's Corduroy trousers, and even a Sport Coat. Great Quality.

These pants hold the standards of all good moleskins I have bought in the past. A delight to wear in cool weather.
Great pants - warmth in the winter By Bumpy from Boston on 03/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Don't Wrinkle, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Everyday, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Career, Classic, Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair a month or so ago and just went back for two more pair. I've never been so comfortable waiting for the train or walking to the office when it's twenty degrees, or 35 and raining. These pants to some degree shed rain - enough that a 10 minute walk from train to office in light to medium rainfall did not result in looking or feeling soaked through.
They are heavy and drape very well - don't show wrinkles much. Not sure how far into spring or summer I'll be able to wear them as the are very warm - but they are really awesome in the winter! I'm comfortable wearing them indoors so I'm sure they're fine for ordinary desk-jockey level of activity up to at least 70 degrees. Remains to be seen whether I can walk to/from the train when it's 80+ and humid.
My tailor says they get three times what I paid for these over at the local specialty shop!
By rural san from western NY on 12/30/2007 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice material. The fit was tight through the hips. Because moleskin tends to shrink a bit these had to go back.
By D-Day from Humboldt County, California on 12/28/2007 Best Uses: Formal Occasions, Going Out Describe Yourself: Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are too pegged at the foot and the waist is a little too long. Otherwise, they're cool.
