By Slow but steady from The Cascades, OR on 06/10/2009 Pros: Easily adjustable, Good Fit, Good Traction, Littleno break in time Cons: No separate toe adjustmen, Tensioner loosens Best Uses: Light hiking, Road running, Trail running Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were grat fitting shoes for me. Was able to run in them straight out of the box. Good stability and traction on the trail. Cannot speak for traction in wet mud, as I have not used them when muddy. The BOA system makes adjusting the lacing easy; however, if you're one who likes to adjust the toe and ankle areas separately, this may not be for you. The tension equalizes across the entire top of the foot evenly. The footbed is very comfortable and has gppd support of my moderately high arches. My only dislike of these shoes is that twice I have bumped the release mechanism open on the back of the shoe, cauing it to become 'unlaced'. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied.
By Charlotte Runner from Charlotte, NC on 06/09/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second pair of arnuva's i've owned. First set were great for running. I used these mostly for road running. I love the lacing system, the shoes stay exactly how tight or loose you want.
I own the fire road boa's also and have to say that the arnuva's are much nicer shoes in general. The arnuva's seem to be a little lighter and the looks of the shoes are much nicer.

North Face Arnuva 50 Boa Running Shoes ( By Brad from Phoenix, AZ on 04/28/2009 Pros: Arch and Heel support, Boa Technology is AWESOME Cons: Wish in came is WIDE Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in a datacenter and the floors are kinda slick I get real good traction with these shoes. I'm still in the break in period, which I think the wideness will probably start to show on their own, but I do wish a wide was avaiable.
By tall guy's wife from san jose, ca on 04/08/2009 Pros: breathable, Comfortable Best Uses: Very breathable sneakers Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hubby wore his every single day as his daily shoe. This is because no other shoe was ever breathable enough for his feet. The shoes only last 6 months with this kind of wear. But they are worth every penny. Now they are in size 14 finally, they may last longer - the size 13 was a tiny bit snug. The stretching may have quickened their deterioration.
By Ocoee from Ocoee on 04/03/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: New to trail runnning at 47.
LOVE the funky twist knob to tighten "laces." HATE shoe coming untied. Instant tighten, and even better, instant loose to take off. Perfect tension.
