Relaxed, generous fit as described makes these pants very comfy. Infinitely adjustable self-belting is a very useful feature, especially since waist is a bit large.

I don't understand the buttons and loop on the cuff; won't cinch the bottom more than 1/2 in and looks like they'll catch on brush, etc. Nice finish, and so light!

I have other ex officio pants and the fit is much more accurate. These pants would be fantastic except they are waaaaay to big all the way around. They are at least a size larger than indicated, and they have a much longer inseam than 29 inches. They sit high on the waist, where I would prefer they sit at just below the waist. They are at least a 33 inch inseam - and due to the closures at the bottom of the pant leg, you can't hem them. So even exchanging for a smaller size wouldn't help here.

Although the waist size fits, the pants legs are too long--and I am 5'7". Buy a smaller size!

They're very comfortable and stylish in a casual way. They tend to run long, as other reviewers have said, but I simply hemmed them and they work fine.

But they are tailored enough to wear to work and with the right shoes and shirt are stylish and professional. Also they take up almost no room in the suitcase and wrinkles fall right out. They are great right out of the wash and only take a few minutes in the dryer.
