I ordered the holiday stepping stones pattern, thinking I could use it not just at Christmas. It simply is an odd color combination that won't work in my small apartment. But truly I own higher quality hooked rugs, and this one just pales in comparison. It's a flatter, looser pile, and the lines of the design are off a bit. Not bad for a rug just in use as holiday decor, and not bad for the discounted price, but not what I was hoping to use it for.

I considered returning it -- only to buy the larger size! I have kept it, of course, and may order the 5' anyway. The colors are just so pretty and the design is classic but manages to be festive and a little whimsical at the same time. If this rug holds up to holiday traffic with dogs, kids etc. I'm sure it will become a family favorite. The excellent quality really surprised and pleased me.
