It simply didn't work at all. it was advertised to prevent "rugs" from slipping, and that implies on a floor. We just hoped it didn't require the weight of a foot to prevent slipping. We didn't need/want it for the floor, so we cannot judge it as advertised

We got two of these pads and it's a big improvement. Now we go days without having to restraighten the rugs.

Very easy to cut and adheres well to the spot it is placed in. I have had others which were so flimsy they did nothing but act as a paper towel under the rug.
