By llisandro from urbana, IL on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket was warmer than expected- it's been in the 50s here and I am sweating by the time I get to work after a 1 mi walk. I am a male, wear a 38 short jacket. I bought the brown in S cause I wanted it snug. Fits really well, sleeves are a little long, glad I didn't order a Med. The brown is a shade lighter than I thought it would be, and the color looks a tad "feminine." If I had to do it again, I'd order the black. Overall, a nice jacket for [$], and it fits slim like I wanted it to (I could easily wear the M as well). It's also fairly water-repellent, and the iPOD sleeve in the chest pocket is nice.

It is lightweight and packable, pockets have a liner for warmth and the zippered pocket on the sleeve will be useful. Provides decent warmth for cool temperatures but not cold/extreme temps. You would need to layer more for colder temps.
The only downside to this jacket is quality of build. It's not bad at first glance but I am curious as to the longevity of this jacket with wear. Overall, 3.5/5.00

This jacket is very light and quilted, warm but not for extreme cold. It fits fairly snug. It is more useful than your typical fleece jacket, I think. Lots of pockets - two at sides, two on left sleeve and one zippered inside. The sleeves have a velcro strap for tightening. I loved the espresso so much I had to buy the rust also. Now I will be wearing my favorite jackets all winter.
