The adjustable strap makes it practical for rainy, windy days and I've been told I look great wearing it. Why is it a close-out?

The wide back brim keeps the rain off and the chin strap keeps the hat in place. The adjustable head band is nice too.

Flattering for a rain hat By J from NH on 09/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Outdoorsy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I never thought I would wear one of these big rain hats, but this is by far one of the most flattering I have found. I wanted it for hiking, canoeing, etc. in the rain because I often find that the hood on my rain jacket makes me feel claustrophobic or hot. This hat fits great (size small, I usually take a small in most hats) and looks cute on. I have not used it in the rain yet, but I can tell that it will work fine. I don't know if I would want to use it on a hot day for sun protection though as I think it might get too hot (especially since I got the brown), but I can't say for sure.
By Jen from Clearwater, FL on 09/10/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had a chance to try to wear it out yet, but it seems like it will stand up well. I ended up giving my first hat away to someone who borrowed it for a day and loved it so much I just gave it to her!
Can't go wrong for goretex By Avid Hiker Babe from Boise, Id on 09/10/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Sunblock Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought the hat to go to Vietnam hiking. Spent a month in Seattle area to test out the rain proofing - works great - water beads up then shed off the brim without going down your neck or into your hood. It may be a little warmer because of the lining but I don't mind that.
