Well made, hi quality, quirky pockets. By Doug the bus rider. from Carmichael, CA on 10/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Heavy durable fabric, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lots of pockets, Strong zippers Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had these pants for one season and they are holding up very well. The zippers are sturdy so you don't fret taking off the legs & putting them back on (unlike some other convertible pants I own).
My wife likes the way back pockets tack closed. I would prefer a flap & button. Lower side pockets are an odd size - probably for a cell phone. There is one zipper pocket on the seam right next to the normal slip pocket on the right side. I don't know what it is for, but it is well made.
Belt loops are large & study, so you can wear a wide belt (my back likes that).
Overall, the quality, materials, & execution are all very good. Impressive, but not light weight.
