By sailor from Boston on 07/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the closest to normal chinos I have found in convertible pants. No bulky cargo pockets - I can wear them to work most days. I have one pair, and have just ordered several more. Pity they are closing out,but makes a good price.

By Dvo from NYC NY on 04/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Functional pair of pants. Constructed out of plain cotton canvas so don't expect any quick dry material. Waist is standard pants waist without any fitted strapping. Durable and fine for getting dirty but not very high tech.
By Frieda from Minneapolis, MN on 04/06/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own a couple pair of nylon convertible travel/hiking pants and wanted something made of cotton. These are a very lightweight denim type, well-made, soft, and comfortable -- great for general wear in the SW during 85-degree weather. The length is on the longish side, but I'm a tall woman and can use every inch.

The fit and finish are very nice and the pants are comfortable. I'm a casual hiker/camper and they will be perfect for that.
