Great Waterproof/ Warm Boots... By Mannis the snowmobiler from Big Moose, NY on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these boots because they were waterproof. I snowmobile for about 8-10 hours a day and they rate -40. They are very warm and they are very easy to get on and take off! The removeable insert is great, so I can take them out and warm/dry them by the fire. I would definetly recommend these boots, they are very durable.

Very comfortable. Great non-slip tread for snow/icy conditions. The liner appears to be capable of keeping my feet warm. I will update you after I put them to the test in December.

By Winter Cyclist from Killington, VT on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for winter cycling. I ride all year long commuting by bicycle over two hours to work at a ski resort. They are better than any other boots i've found on the market for this application. The rubber area around the toe and around the sides to the back keep the slush from getting through the boots, and are still flexible enough for cycling. I prefer the zipper over laces because snow and ice accumulate in between laces and remain on the boot longer, but with the zipper the snow doesn't have a chance to melt on the front. The boots are very warm and comfortable and are a good choice for most winter activities, although if your going to be ice fishing or standing in the cold all day i would look at some of Kamik's heavier pack boots.
