Comfortable stretchy cotton--I hope it stands up to gentle washing. The bodice and sleeves in M are closely fitted, so order up if chesty. Some people might not like the fluffy ruffle in the front (I do), but it also covers up any gap. A wacky but elegant, wearable, and unique article.

Large buttons and front facing pockets at the waist gave it a jacket quality though it is cut as a shirt. The ruffles don't cover the buttons and they carry on below the hemline, to a point. I thought I could fold them under but that would add more bulk. Sent it back.

A larger size would be too big in the shoulders and too long. I have a short torso and a petite would fit better.
