By santa fe hiker from santa fe, nm on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the perfect jacket for my needs. It is warm, wind and waterproof which will be great whether it's snowing, raining or blowing.
The only drawback for me is the fit. I'm large busted so I had to get the size up which is a little too big everywhere else. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
By roman from rochester mn on 10/21/2009 Cons: Not enough arm movement Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice color and styling, down is nice. Jacket feels a little stiff. I had to return it because it was way too tight under the armpits and I couldn't lift my arms up. I had tried this exact coat on at a retail store and this particualar jacket fit very differently than the store one. With the jacket styling, it does give the appearance of having wide shoulders.

Enough functional features without too many bells and whistles.
Great price, too!
By Skiermama from Boulder, Colorado on 09/16/2009 Pros: Durable, Nice feel to the material, Nice styling, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use this jacket on the coldest days, or when the wind and snow are blowing. It is heavier than some jackets, which will feel great.[...]This was my first purchase from Sierra Trading Post and I will definitely be back.
Big jacket, great lines, for cold days By kardoo from eugene, oregon on 08/14/2009 Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've not tried the jacket... got it and it was 107 outside... but I got a size up for sking to allow movement and I think it will work just fine. Great lines for what I consider more of a bulky jacket.
Think it's going to great By Snow Bunny from Santa Fe on 06/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had it out on the slopes yet but really like the side panels on the body and the sleeves- gets rid of the bulky "michelin man" look. It also allows for a more comfortable fit under a shell for those really brutal days. The zippers on the sleeves are great for putting your gloves under your jacket cuffs. Really can't wait for it to snow!!!
