Order one or two sizes up By GearGirl from Madison, WI on 07/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for ski pants for a long time, but most are too short for me, so I was glad to see a pant that comes in long. They are not THAT long, though. They are just long enough for me (I'm 5'8" and 125 lbs.), so if you are taller, they may still be too short. The fabric is really nice and the insides are warm. I ordered a 6 long (I wear a 4 in regular pants) and they were too snug. I am exchanging them for an 8 long. Really nice pants. Oh, and they have stirrups, so they really are like the old-fashioned OTB pants (but with a lower rise, thank goodness).
By Rocky mt tele from Lakewood, CO on 05/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Order 1 or 2 sizes larger, Poor Sizing Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use these soft shell pants for backcountry tele skiing. They are comfortable and durable to make those turns and climbs possible.
Kudos to Obermeyer for making a short length for we height challenged women.
Rise is very short --- too short for me By Wine Goddess from Seven Springs Mountain Resort, PA on 04/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits true to size, however the rise is way too short. Also, styling a bit "old fashioned". Back it goes.
