Regretting having to return these By Deb the Dog Luvver from Philadelphia, PA on 10/02/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved these but I could not wear a heavy sock with them, just a bit too narrow. Otherwise a great shoe for the price.

I need good support and traction without wearing out my feet.

By Sue from Hamden, CT on 09/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only had them a short while but used them right off the bat for a week's vacation, wearing them every morning hiking. My feet remained dry through morning dew and early rains, even in deep brush. They have a nice roomy toe box and the metal lace guides mean the laces even out when pulled tight, which is a big plus! They are stiff, but no more than any other waterproof trail shoe I have had.
By Marzerk from Silver Spring MD on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fit great at usual size. I have worn them to work in prep for hiking. Make a squishy sound, tried them with thicker woolen socks==same sound. It may be the lining....... I like them. Well worth the cost...sole appears to be thick enough to last a couple of year with regular use.

By Mickey from Chicago, IL on 09/09/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was an okay shoe for the price, but I had to return it. It felt too big and rubbed.
By Demanding of my gear from Boise, ID on 09/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I did not find these shoes as actractive as the pair of waterproof Vasque's I ordered. I am willing to overlook a lacking design if technically impressed by the gear. These shoes, however, were far to narrow over the toe box. I had my sister try the shoes on as well (her feet are slightly smaller and narrower), but the shoes were too small and narrow for her also.
By BlueLatitude from Wisconsin on 09/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were comfortable from the first time I put them on. A very nice shoe at a great price. The only fault I can find is that there is a slight sqeak in the left shoe, which is a bit annoyng, but perhaps that will work itself out.
Good fit, but needs break-in time By JavaBird from New York on 09/07/2009 Pros: Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a good fit for my foot and have stable feel, but they need a bit of break-in time. The toe box is a bit boxy and there is a bit of slip in the heel right away. It's better with a thicker sock. I wore them around the house a house for a day or two before wearing outside. First hour of truly active outside activity I got a blister on one heel. I like the waterproof; I sprayed them off with the hose (while wearing them) to get dirt off and no leaks. If they break in nicely they will be terrific.
