Great alternative snow boots! By jerandali from Arlington, WA on 08/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were great boots at a great price. I bought a pair for my 2 1/2 year old (size 9) and my 6 year old (size 2). The boots seem to be a little big (long) for the size, but should be great with thick socks. I love the removable liner. The boots are not really that high, but should be great for average stomping around outside in rainy weather and for snowy days with the liner (as long as the snow isn't too deep!) I wanted something a little light weight and also a rain boot to wear when it's not snowing (so their feet don't get too hot). These boots are great. I like the plain black color but I do wish it didn't have the royal blue around the sole (to match the liner, I guess). Like other Kamik boots we've had, I think these are just a little on the heavy side (I think the rubber on the sole). But they feel really sturdy and my son almost completely wore out the bottoms of his previous Kamik rainboots because he loved them So much he wore them all the time.
By Rajmommy from Maryland on 08/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These will be great for Novemberish weather that lasts months around here... lots of cold rain and mud, the occasional snow followed by slush. Heavier and warmer than a typical rain boot, plus they have a soft cozy lining. It doesn't seem like it would be possible to make them leak without a drill. They wouldn't be suitable for playing in deep snow every day... they'd come off, but for our one-or-two snows a winter they'll be fine. My kid loves the soft inside.

By Jen in Maine from Bangor, ME on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sturdy, comfortable, warm boot. But, the removable liners do make it difficult for my son to put them on and off by himself. Overall, worth the extra effort since they will last him through a variety of seasons.
Good for Splashing in the Rain By JW from Northeast US on 05/12/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The kids immediately pulled on the boots and went puddle stomping for an hour. They returned home covered with mud - but with fairly dry feet. They had managed to get some water inside the boots while splashing, but the liners absorbed it. The boots were easy to rinse off outside and the removable liners dried by morning.
We plan to use these for wet weather this summer, but won't have a chance to try them in snow for several months.

GREAT boots, GREAT bargain! By battlemaiden82 from michigan on 04/30/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for simple rain boots for my kids that won't break the bank and are easy to get on and off. These fit the bill perfectly! The inner liner is an extra bonus to keep little feet warm. They are true to size and seem very well constructed. [*] For the price, these are definately recomended.
