NOT WATERPROOF as advertised. Wet feet and stinky shoes from day one for two weeks!

By DMF from San Dimas, CA on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these because I fell in love with their little sisters, the Pagora for women that are not waterproof, which are extremely comfortable and did not need any break-in (I own 3 pairs, 2 got at ST). So I ordered the waterproof boots too hoping for the same craftsmanship but they were too small and tight. I returned them to get the 1/2 size bigger and they fit right. I have only worn them in the house for half a day and they wear comfortably enough for me to keep them despite they are a bit warm. Although I cannot wear higher boots which feel very constrictive on my ankles, I do like the support these mid boots offer. Overall satisfied. I got the Tan/Lox and they are so good-looking! They feel solid and stable but supple at the same time as the foot flex with no problem when stepping forward. I wish I could provide a more detailed comment about outdoor performance but I have not tried these boots on a trail yet. I live in So. California and they are a bit warm for our summer weather.
By Vacation Girl from Indiana on 07/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to wear on our Yellowstone/Grand Tetons vacation instead of my regular tennis shoes. These hiking shoes were very comfortable - my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. The shoe size was also very true to my size feet. I was also glad for hiking shoes as they had more traction then tennis shoes.

Hiking the rocky mountains can be rough on your feet, but these shoes fit the bill and are easy on the wallet.
By Betzgirls from Louisville, CO on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are very comfortable. My feet are narrow and I have to be picky about heel fit. These shoes fit my heels and toebox both. They have proven to be waterproof. They do get warm during warm weather-but should be great for shoeshoeing!

I bought a half size larger than my regular shoes, in order to accomodate for good socks.

But they were very comfortable on my first hike in them (6.4 miles, moderate trail, some parts steep, mostly dirt ground cover, some rock). Just wear thick socks to prevent blisters on the heal. Pretty airy. And good-looking too! Images shared by: On top of old SmokeyThe shoes made it to the top Tags: Picture of Product
