By Mike the "Wild Plant" Man from So. Utah on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had the trail shoes long enough long enough to test for water tight or durability. But I can say that they were (are) very comfortable from the first time I put them on and still are. I am thinking of ordering another pair as I like these so well!

VERY comforable, durable and the mid height gives the perfect support for running outside on gravel.
Just what I was looking for By Backcountry Fiend from Denver, CO on 06/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a great pair of hikers. I am more of a low-cut shoe guy, but that just doesn't cut it for backpacking. Low-cut water-proof shoes usually aren't of much help either. However, these mids are awesome. Just took them on a moderate hike in Rocky Mountain NP walked through streams to test out the water-proofness, and came out dry as a bone. They are fairly lightweight for a solid hiking shoe, which is a big plus. A little extra weight can make a big deal on a long hike. I actually liked them so much I went online to get a second pair, unfortunately they were all gone! 5 stars in my opinion.

By M from Gulfport, FL on 05/22/2009 Cons: Not comfortable, Red lining bleeds Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After wearing these for three days, I sent them back. The foot bed is red, and bleeds, so you end up with pink socks. They also left my feet sore at the end of the day. They did, however, keep my feet dry during light rain. If you do order them, and plan to wear thicker socks, order a half size up.
By Hiker McHikeypants from Mason MI on 05/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The water just beaded off! It didn't even look like they got wet shortly after i pulled my foot up. Went in about ankle deep to test the water proofness. Only draw backs were they are kinda warm but tolerable in the hotter weather, and they are quite heavy. Used them when I went mushroom hunting and went for a day hike/ 3 day camp.
