By Farm Lover from KY on 10/14/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Read other reviews before ordering -- ordered 1/2 size larger to allow for heavier socks. Even with thin socks I could barely get foot in. Inside lining gives when putting foot in/out which makes for extra difficulty. Overall very dissatisfied with a product made by Columbia.
Not for me, but still nice boots. By Kiwi Tones from Denver CO on 10/12/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are nice...don't get me wrong. They were a little hard to get on and off, but definately not impossible. I found them a little flat footed...they didn't really mold to my foot, and I really want comfort with my shoes.
I just moved to Denver and am looking for warm boots. I ordered these, but realized that I really need longer boots that will provide more coverage and warmth. The problem is that I am vegetarian and will not wear leather or fur, so am limited in warm winter footwear. Oh well, I'll keep looking.
Good for my inner city needs By osaggie from New York, NY on 10/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tights, bottoms of jeans, waterproof overpants, etc., can tuck in and be held by drawstring-type top closure. These are fine for non-heavy-duty hiking about, but obviously are not for demanding trail or mountain hiking.

Wish they had a side zipper. By LA Boater from Los Angeles, CA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to wear on my boat this winter when it's chilly, so wanted a short boot that's warm, waterproof and easy to slip on. They slipped on when I was barefoot. But with socks, my heal catches on the soft upper part and the inside lining slides down a little as I slide my foot in. I have to push my heal down as I pull up on the lining. It's be better if they had side zippers, but it's not too bad so I'm keeping them. They are practical and what I need, and kinda cute, and they are comfortable.
By cocabolo from Hampden, ME on 08/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots fit great - I ordered the size of shoe I normally wear and have had no problems with fit. They're comfortable, look good, and are are easy to slip on and off.
By honeybee from Ithaca, NY on 07/10/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these in my regular size and could not begin to get my foot into them, even with a nylon sock and a shoe horn!!! . Sometimes I get winter boots in 1/2 size larger to accommodate a thick sock, but I'm not going to try with these as I can't imagine 1/2 size would make that much difference. You would have to have flat arches for these to work.
