I'm keeping the boots, but... By Dog Walker from Illinois on 10/06/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even with a zipper, these boots are hard to get in and out of with thick socks on. The top part is also very stiff. I am keeping them becasue they are waterproof and I am hoping that they get softer with use.

Hard to get on but worth the effort By Walking girl from St Joseph, MI on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just needed a warm light wieght boot for winter walking. These appear to fit the bill. They are true to size. They are difficult to get into, thus only 4 stars, but once they are on they are totally comfortable.
Very Warm, yet attractive pac boots By Outdoors in all kinds of weather from On Lake Michigan in Muskegon, MI on 08/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have Raynaud's Syndrome so I easily get frostbit toes and have been looking for a good boot. I love the 400g of Thinsulate. I am size 10 but prefer a larger boot so I can wear my Smartwool socks, so I got a size 10 1/2. It is difficult to get into this boot, especially if you have a high instep as I do, but once inside, the boot feels great and fits well. I'm keeping them and am looking forward to the coming winter! Thanks again, Sierra!
