So far, I am delighted. The fit is just right, even with heavy socks. Other boots I tried do not have room for heavy socks.
so good, hope they last for years By little mojo from western New York State on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Snowshoeing Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear them to walk my dogs back through the fields. Toasty, watertight, sturdy boots! Because my heels are narrow, tho, I wish the top 3 shoelace holes were gussets, instead, so I could cinch my ankle in tighter.

By louloubean from upstate NY on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: my favorite part about columbia boots is the raised ridge on the back of the heel, which can be used to help pull your boot off, or to help keep you snowshoe heel strap on.
this is a great boot, really cozy feeling, but a bit stiff at first wear. it's becoming my favorite boot, though i wish it were easy to slip on and clump around in without lacing it up. that doesn't work so well, it has to be laced on.
overall, i love this boot!

By Bright Spot from Tacoma WA on 11/09/2009 Cons: Heavy, Not Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are honestly the least comfortable boots I've ever worn. Very disappointing. Gave me painful bruises on my shins after only 30 minutes of wear. Stiff and heavy. Also difficult to lace up snugly on the lower eyelets. Will return them today.
