I got the stout color and it's a nice, rich brown. The inside is this soft, warm fleece. They are very lightweight. I haven't tested the waterproof aspect, but expect they will perform well. They look great too. And you CANNOT beat the price. I've been out boot shopping and even the fake vinyl boots are going for $60. I highly recommend these!

By Warm Foot from Ashland OR on 11/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these to walk around for 8 hours in City Streets. Kept my feet warm at about 50 degrees and light rain. I sprayed them for extra water proofing. They did begin to blister on my heel even with two pairs of wool socks. I like these for around town but have doubts about their durability and any other use.

They are cute and oh, so comfortable. I didn't rate them for cold weather or poor conditions only because I haven't tried them out in that yet. From the minute I put them on, my feet have been smiling!

I was glad that I purchased them. I have a high instep on one side but I just use my long shoehorn to get in and out of the boots and it works just fine.
By Bargain Barn Lurker from Upstate NY on 11/02/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Interesting leather, Lightweight Cons: Made in China, Odd design at top Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hanging out, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Order at least a half size up!!!! Sierra should have that in the product description.
I'll probably keep these because I ordered 1/2 size up, but I can only fit a pair of cotton socks in them.
These are nicely made and unique, and the sale price makes them worth it. I'd like them more if they were made in the USA.
