Even though they're "seconds", we've never found anything wrong with them!!
By Casual Engineer from Rochester on 10/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High Quality Material, Versatile Style Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although they are advertised as "Carpenter Jeans", at 5" the ruler pocket was too shallow for my glasses case. After extending the ruler pocket from inside & carefully cutting off the hammer loop, they are perfect for professional office wear.

not as durable as expected ! By md2020 from West of Boston, MA on 09/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Fit Cons: Color Fades, Low Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Initally I loved them and as time went on, I started to notice why they were 2nds. :( I have small holes popping up due to some flaws in the quality of the weave of fabric. I just wear them at work so no one really notices it. Not happy with how the color faded quickly either, but sometimes a bargain isn't a bargain.
I ordered another pair later on and found they just patched a big hole low on the leg?! :( Not worth the aggrevation to return them so I will just use them for work pants. I don't think I would order these again.

These were the only ones that were labeled "loose fit". Oddly enough these were the TIGHTEST of all 4 pairs.

By Gwen from Montpelier, VT on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Fit, Holds Color Well Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Vermonter Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this cut of Carhartt pant, and according to their website, this cut has been discontinued! So I've stocked up, thanks to STP.
I'm a woman, but I've never found a pair of Carhartt women's pants that fit me properly. I'm 5'6", and a bit curvy around the hips. I was thrilled when Carhartt introduced women's pants (bootcut! ooh!) but they fit me all wonky (like so many other women's clothing lines) and gapped horribly.
Yet most of the Carhartt men's pants fit like a dream! Yet another mystery of the universe.
