By Aqua Flyer from Phoenix AZ on 11/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had a chance yet to wear these as I live in Phoenix and we haven't gotten cold yet but they will work well for my visits to the high country or to family in the Midwest.
By City Gal in the Cold from Iowa City, IA on 11/05/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Not bulky, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the fact the boot is not bulky looking. However not alot of comfort inside. It's a little difficult to get my foot in..hoping with time it will loosen up! Didn't realize it had a zipper; hard to get a hold of and zip. Velcro would have been better. Weather hasn't turned cold so can't really comment on warmth or slippability...which is really important to me. Good if you're looking for something to get you from point A to point B.
By Revemom from Aitkin, MN on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Side zipper snap stiff Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought a pair for myself and my daughter, mine---a size 9 fit great, hers a size 6 was too small, had to reorder a 6.5. Inside is very soft and warm...the orthotic is GREAT support.
By Pat from Chicago on 11/04/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed waterproof boots for everyday wear in the cold, wet Chicago winters that weren't too sporty or clunky and these boots fit the bill. They are a little difficult to pull on but once on they're very comfortable. They have a good arch support and they are easy to walk in.
By jalafa from Michigan on 11/04/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like everything about this boot (especially the fleece lining - so soft and toasty!) EXCEPT the fit. There is a built-in arch support, which is a nice touch, but it is too close to the heel to be comfortable. Also,(and this is what is really disappointing), the outside of the boot rubs against my legs and irritates them. I have narrow ankles and calves, so if it bothers me, it is likely to bother someone with thicker legs. I tried both thin and heavier-weight socks, and neither made any difference. Wearing them for a while to try to get used to this is a waste of time; the basic angle of the side of the boot will not change. I wish this was not so, as I like the boots and was looking forward to wearing them this winter. Sorry to have to return them.
By Farm Girl from Rockwood, TN on 10/29/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As one who is appalled by the prices of casual, winter boots, it was refreshing to find these well-made, super comfortable boots at a price I can live with. They fit well and I doubt they'll look sad after only one season like other over-priced casual boots.
Columbia Footwear Lexington Winter Boots By Hillbillygoatgirl from Arkansas on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are functional and beautiful at the same time. The sizing is a tiny bit large but I assume to accommodate heavier socks. These are NOT barn boots but more for wet sidewalks and trips to the store in the cold rain. Serviceable for casual but not up to heavy daily use in wet winter.
By Barb from Lineville, IA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: I have not found any cons Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used this product much yet as it hasn't been cold enough and we haven't had any snow yet but I think it is going to be satisfactory from the little I have worn it
