I have a few frye's, but these are the most comfortable. only complaint is that the width for the calves are a little narrow, i'm 5'3 and 120 pounds, so i have medium sized calves (not large ones), and they are a little tight at the top so they tend to scrunch down a bit. it doesn't really affect the comfort factor, though, just be prepared that they might not stand up straight. very nice pair of boots. will wear these for a long time.
By green mountain lass from Montpelier, VT on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Snazzy, Warm Cons: Little big, Stains Easily, Upper too flimsy Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, In house slipper boot Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Frye. this is my 4th pair of their boots. I was disappointed in the color choice i had to choose but really wanted a pair of these boots. I thought that the uppers would be stiffer. it says that they are shearling lined but it does not mentioned that they are suede. this was a little disappointing to me, for they can now only be worn indoors or in very dry cold conditions (salt will ruin them) in other words I have an awesome pair of really warm shoes to wear around the house. not quite what I wanted, but I'll keep them, they are a great price. The crepe sole is very quiet and nice to walk on.Does feel a little larger but can wear thicker socks and still works with thin ones or BARE FEET. would recommend after I told them all that (above)

I have few pair of fleece lined boots and the fleece in the Frye boot is more substantial. I love the crepe sole, nice and quiet when I walk down the hall at work!

It runs just like the regular campus, very generous in both length and width. Very nice quality, as always with frye.!!!!
