Sorels for New England Winters By hiker chick from New England on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just recieved my boots (october) and cannot comment on the performance features. I purchased them as a more stylish winter boot; they are very good looking and very comfortable. I wear another Sorel boot for outdoor activities (for the past 9 winters). I live in New England and know that the Sorel products are durable, warm, comforatble.

By Boot Wearer from Chicago, IL on 10/26/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Needed to order a size up in order to get past the shaft of the boot. These are okay boots and will probably prove very satisfactory for cold weather wear, though they look a bit cheaper in reality than I felt the photographs suggested.

By Wildcat Fan from Big Blue Nation, Kentucky on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I decided to purchase these a little early this year and have already been wearing them almost everyday even though it's not full fledged winter here in Kentucky yet. I have ice in my veins so my feet normally stay cold in any weather below 60 degrees but these are so warm and comfortable that I hope they get the brown in stock in my size before winter is over with. They feel true to size. Normally I can wear anywhere from an 8 1/2 to a 10 so I went with a 9 and they fit perfectly.
By Insurance Gal from Traverse City, MI on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable and stylish! A little difficult to get on, maybe better over time. I just received these and was very please with the look. Once I put them on, I did not want to take them off. One of the most comfortable winter boots I have ever owned. I have not yet put them to the Northern Michigan winter test, but these will be for going on sales appointments in the winter. I am confident that these will more than suitable for trudging through the snow, as well as compliment my business casual dress.
By Melissa from Baltimore, MD on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are pretty perfect as far as around-town winter boots go. Majorly comfy, cute enough that you could probably even wear them with opaque tights and a skirt, waterproof and quite warm. Honestly, they're so cute and comfy, I started wearing them before it was really cold enough...
By rain beware from seattle, wa on 10/19/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: +Not too bulky, good warmth, decently waterproof
-Not comfortable if standing for long periods of time, a tight fit around ankles so a little push to put the foot in.
By legsondoe from Fairbanks, AK on 10/15/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful boot. Thought they would be a bit warmer, however they are very fashionable. If they had a pair that had a cold rating of -40 degrees, I would buy a couple of pairs in different colors.
