By Popsicle Toes from Denver, CO on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This would have been the third bootless winter for Mr Picky if left on his own. Many boots have been tried, but none quite measured up to his previous pair! Took a chance on these (plus was the half-size availability), and scored. He actually likes them, and has praised them to several friends! Dark Tundra looks much better "in person".

Bugalite is "lite" and comfortable By L Coyote from Texas, Minnesota and Yellowstone on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Snowshoeing, Walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot is more comfortable than many winter boots, but that is because it is "lite" and not overly bulky. Though of good height, it doesn't feel cumbersome or pinch my shins as some boots do. But this moderate build may be its weakness as well, since it is not a top quality boot -- frankly nothing by Columbia is top quality. But for around half price here at Sierra Trading Post, you will certainly get your money's worth, even if the boot is not heirloom quality. Long-term waterproof ability and durability remain to be seen. Also note: the temperature rating for the boot is -25F/-32C, though I suspect the Bugalite is not insulated as well as some Sorels, which may be the better way to go if you spend much time in sub-zero temps.
By Waiting for the cold from Connecticut on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for my son. He tried them on and was walking all around the house because they were so comfortable. He actualy thanked me and said they are the most comfortable boots he's had and it's all about easy on and off with him so that was a real plus for him. It's supposed to snow tonight so he is excited to give them a try.
By AJ, the ranch manager from Eden Utah on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Aggressive tread needed, Traction is not that good Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Doing outside chores, Snow, Snowshoeing, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Ranch work-chores, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots for winter-twice daily chores, feeding livestock and general ranch maintanence. I loved my last pair of Bugaboo boots and wore them so much I wore them out. They are light weight, waterproof, and very warm (especially when it gets to -20/-30 & I'm outside for several hours feeding horses & cattle)
They are a good quality purchase, especially when money is hard to come by.
By Rose from Seattle on 10/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I had a size 9 (Men's) for many years, this size 9 was too small. Very disappointing. Returned them and went to a store where I could try them on. I noted that they were made in Viet Nam. Perhaps they are skimping on material??
Hard to find size not so hard By Bigfoot Bill from Adirondack Mountains, NY on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Hunting, Ice Fishing Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Anyone who wears a size 14/15/16 shoe knows how hard, and expensive, it can be to find proper footwear. Then add in the difficulty of translating regular shoe size to boots, they all seem to have their own size standards. This is the first time I ordered a pair of boots and didn't have to return them to get it right. I am VERY pleased with Sierra Trading Post and will ABSOLUTELY order again. Great selection, great quality, and great service!
