They are just a bit cooler than the regular 'ol khaki pant; they've got a little zip to them.

I have had two pairs. First was replaced because my phone in the front pocket caused a scape that looked like a stain. So the fabric is somewhat delicate. I still like these. Slightly low rise - they look good.
